“Maryam photographed our nikkah ceremony and wedding reception in July 2023. From beginning to end, she paired professionalism with warmth-- clarifying ideas and expectations from the start, being highly reliable on the day (while winning my grandmother's heart in the process) and delivering our beautiful photos within just a couple of weeks.
Her presence at the nikkah was unobtrusive while clicking candids and at the reception she really captured the personalities of all our loved ones, catching moments that I missed myself. Despite being slightly anxious for our couple photos, Maryam made us feel completely at ease, so much so that the photoshoot was actually one of my favourite parts of the day!
As a hijabi, I also had some modesty/privacy concerns which she was completely understanding and accommodating of. I can only apologise that some of her best shots won't make it onto the website (my gorgeously composed bridal detail shots + the 'cultural dark academia' photos are some of my favourites!)
If I had to describe Maryam's approach to her work in one word, it would be 'excellence'. I'd recommend her without hesitation.”

“I had the honour of having Maryam as photographer in my nikah party. Maryam was an absolute pleasure to meet and be around, and I am in awe at her talent and brilliant photos she captured during the event.
Maryam quickly gained my trust as someone who was reliable and a safe pair of hands. From the get go, she arranged a virtual meeting asking lots of questions to get an idea of the event and what I was looking for - it was clear she had the client in mind throughout.
Maryam arrived on time and was so kind to do an extra couple photoshoot before the start of the event which was not even planned. When taking photos, Maryam was friendly and broke the ice very quickly, helping us be comfortable during our slightly awkward first photoshoot!
As for during the event, Maryam managed to take such beautiful candid shots without any of us realising! We all fell in love with her bubbly and friendly personality and felt like we'd known her for years! As one of my friends said when looking at the photos, "this is the first time I've seen marriage photos that actually captured the spirit of the day and aren't posed".
Maryam organised the photos for us to receive and download in clear sections, with a password and very easy to use platform. It made it so much easier to share with others and to refer back to.
